Are you burning money??? Have you had PT in the past? Do you remember your prescription saying 2x week for 6-8 weeks? Or something very similar. Did you know that these prescriptions are just giving your PT leeway to fix your injury based on insurance guidelines? The national average for PT visits before discharge is 10 visits. What if we told you that you could be healed with an average of 3 visits?
Not only would fewer visits manage your injury more efficiently but it would also reduce the amount of time needed to take off of work, save you money on co-payments, and get you back to the activities you love quicker. Here at ONE PT our goal is to manage your pain as quick as possible. Our average visit count per patient is 3 visits.
We do not accept insurance as we want to focus on your healing and wellbeing instead of paperwork. The same therapist spends an entire hour with you at each visit to ensure consistency in your plan of care. We communicate through the week to make sure you are staying on top of your program and to answer any questions you may have along the way.
To ensure that you are getting the best care we wait to schedule your second visit. Why schedule another visit when you may not need it on that specific day? What is your current program is still working? In our eyes it is more important that your initial plan is working appropriately, which can take up to 1-2 weeks. Depending on our follow up conversation a week after your initial evaluation we determine the best path for you which may be waiting another week before being seen again. This plan allows for your body to progress without wasting time in the clinic with a therapist watching you perform the same exercise routine over and over.
We want to progress you as you heal, which means changing your program at each visit. Take a look at how this process can actually be faster and cheaper than the typical insurance model. Copayment amounts are based on the average copayment cost in the Healthcare Blue Book.
